FAQs

Select Your Country
Do I require a Student visa to study in Portugal?

Yes, Students from non-EU countries require a visa.

What types of Accommodations are available?

Most students choose to live with a host family. Home stay is the best choice as this allows foreign students to learn Portuguese more quickly.

Can I switch between programmes?

Students may transfer to another programme provided there is availability. Students who choose to exchange their original choice of program for one of greater value must pay the difference between the two at the time of requesting the upgrade.

What are the housing facilities available in Portugal?

Many universities in Portugal have rather limited campus housing, especially for international students. There are often a small number of rooms earmarked for foreign students that are allocated on a first come first serve basis. If you are not able to find housing directly with the university, they will generally be happy to help you with finding private housing near the university grounds that will suit your needs and budget.
